Haskell is real deal

Larry Haskell’s history of proven leadership, military service and community involvement is without parallel. His performance as a prosecutor and his credibility with local, state and federal law enforcement is unmatched.

As a prosecutor, Haskell has 15 years of experience, including 22 months as a special assistant U.S. attorney – a position sought by many state and county prosecutors – as well as a year in the Spokane office of the U.S. attorney as a full-time assistant U.S. attorney.

Haskell knows and fully supports the “Blueprint for Reform.” However, the responsibilities of the prosecuting attorney go much further than the issues covered in the Blueprint. The Spokane County’s chief law enforcement officer deals with all serious felony crimes, and must be committed to public safety above all other considerations.

Haskell’s opponent, while involved in various reforms, has no prosecution experience. As well, while the involvement of Haskell’s opponent in the Otto Zehm case was laudable, he fails to mention that his success was, for the most part, due to the hard work of the men and women of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

I am personally familiar with Larry Haskell and he has my unqualified endorsement to become our next Spokane County prosecuting attorney.
