Of Portland, Oregon, died, October 30, 2014.
TJ suffered a brain aneurysm while playing basketball, a sport he loved, surrounded by friends.
TJ was born in Spokane, Washington; the son of Colleen Barker and John Tonani.
TJ was a loving brother to Jessica Tonani, Tyler Tonani and Christina Tonani.
He is survived by a large extended family that includes a grandfather, stepparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is also survived by a loving partner, Kelly Knutson.
TJ attended Gonzaga Prep school where his large heart, joking personality and zeal for life led him to establish lifelong friendships.
He loved basketball, Pearl Jam, watching football and his dog Tussles.
All those who knew TJ will sorely miss him; the world will be a lesser place without his loving and quick wit.
On November 15th, the family will be holding a private memorial ceremony followed by public reception at Manito Country Club at 1:00 PM.
TJ was an avid animal lover; he adored every dog that he ever met.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the humane society.
