Maxine

Maxine Chamberlain (83), a longtime resident of Coeur d’Alene, passed away Wednesday, October 29th at home, with the aid and comfort from Hospice of North Idaho.


Maxine graduated from The Dalles High (42) in Oregon, and was well known to many people as the Head Emergency Room Clerk at what was then Kootenai Memorial Hospital.

She was well trained for the hectic life in an emergency room.

While married to Neil Chamberlain, she raised four boys and two girls (four were boy-girl twins).

All became graduates of the Coeur d’Alene High School.
Maxine has a brother Bill Anderton of Kansas City, and a sister Carolyn who lived in Oregon.


Her children are Don “Roho”, Donna Williams, Dennis, Denise, David and Dean.

The four oldest being twins.

All six are graduates of Coeur d’Alene High School.

She has eight granddaughters, and six great- granddaughters and one great-grandson.
