Henry T. Pelc passed away May 9, 2014 in Spokane.
He was born January 25, 1929 in Virden, IL the son of Andrew and Nellie Pelc.
Henry was a dentist for the United States Air Force for 30 years.
His last assignment was at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane as the commander of the dental clinic and he retired with the rank of Colonel.
Henry loved his Catholic Church as well as fishing, hunting and gardening, known for growing the best tomatoes in town.
He wants to be remembered as Henry Pelc, a simple man.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Stanley, Katherine, Bernice and Helen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Karina Pelc of Spokane; daughters Julia Pelc of Spokane, Baiba Warren of Conroe, TX and Rita (Warren) Moore of Spokane Valley; grandchildren Doug Ness, Melanie (Santos) Cardenas, Andrea (Kevin) Hoffman and Benji (Brittany) Warren; great-grandchildren Makenzie Ness, Jacob and Kadence Warren and Aaron and Emelia Cardenas; and his brother Howard Pelc.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10am and will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 34th and Perry, Spokane.
Private committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Catholic Charities of Spokane.
