Heisman winner Jameis Winston accused of stealing food

Florida State Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston received a civil citation after he was accused of taking crab legs and crawfish from a supermarket. The Leon County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Winston was issued a civil citation after he left a Publix supermarket Tuesday without paying $32 for the food. After Winston was contacted by deputies at his apartment, he said he had forgotten to pay. Winston was not charged with a crime. If he completes a community service program, no misdemeanor charges will be filed. The Florida State baseball team has indefinitely suspended Winston. He is a relief pitcher. – AP
