Obituary: Ball, Lorraine Amaryllis
She was born in Spokane, WA in 1930.
She was a long time resident of Clayton, Washington who graduated from Deer Park High School in 1948.
She and her husband, Donald Ball, owned and operated the Clayton Drive In (Home of the Clayton Burger) and a dairy farm for many years.
Lorraine had a loving spirit and a gentle soul.
She was a member of the Church In The Wildwood, Williams’ Valley Grange, Gideon’s Auxiliary and Clayton Historical Society among other things.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Ball, her daughter, Karen Adams, son Steven and wife Diane Ball, youngest daughter, Elaine Ball, two grandchildren, Cory Adams and Nikole Ball and her sister, Luella Dow.
A memorial service will be held on March 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Open Door Congregational Church, 205 N. Main St., Deer Park, WA.
A reception with the family will follow the service at The Church In The Wildwood at the corner of Hwy 395 and Dahl Road, Deer Park, WA all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Gideons, Hospice of Stevens County or the Clayton Historical Society.
