Obituary: Taylor, Doris Mae (Boyse)
Age 90
The service will be held at the Community Congregational Church, 704 Preston Avenue, Thompson Falls, Montana at 1:00pm.
Doris Mae (Boyse) Taylor was born in Troy, Missouri on February 8th, 1924, to Gailen and Osie Boyse.
She spent her youth in the Troy area.
She was married to James Lawrence Taylor on April 5th, 1942.
Doris was an active member of her church, several clubs, and was an especially avid Bridge player.
We have been told that she took her Bridge very seriously.
She and Jimmie traveled frequently, Doris always had a bag packed and ready so that if the urge hit them, they could be gone in 10 minutes.
They traveled all of the United States as well as a vast area of both Canada and Mexico.
Doris was preceeded in death by her parents, husband James Lawrence Taylor who died in 1990, and a sister, Sybill who died in 1924 at a very young age.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Gayle Taylor of Spokane, Washington and Thompson Falls, MT, Nick and Janet Taylor of Oceanside, California, Bob and Mary Taylor of Thompson Falls, MT, Kim Taylor of Thompson Falls, MT, Terry and Renee Taylor of Spokane, WA, and Clinton Taylor of Thompson Falls, MT.
She has seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with one on the way.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Community Congregational Church, PO Box 426, Thompson Falls, MT 59873
