‘Unnecessary 

Farce’

When an embezzling mayor plans to meet his female accountant in a cheap motel room, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s confusion as to who’s in which room, who’s being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.

When: Opens Friday and runs through April 6. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Spokane String Quartet

Pianist Lydia Brown joins the group for two works by Johannes Brahms. Brown has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist all over the world. A graduate of the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, she currently serves as assistant conductor at The Metropolitan Opera.

Keola Beamer with Moanalani  Beamer

Slack key guitar master Keola Beamer will perform music of the Hawaiian islands, accompanied by his wife, Moanalani, a hula dancer and musician. Beamer has breathed new life into slack key guitar music, yet stays true to its deep Hawaiian roots.

Joe Bonamassa

Lauded as one of the world’s greatest guitarists, Bonamassa is a singer-songwriter of stylistic depth with 11 No. 1 albums on the Billboard Blues chart.
