Armed robbery at Subway on North Nevada

Police are investigating whether an armed robbery at the Subway at 6420 N. Nevada St. tonight shortly after 7:30 p.m. is connected to several other recent robberies, including one at the Yoke’s Fresh Market on Indian Trail earlier this evening. A man entered the store and showed a gun, said Lt. Dean Sprague. He is described as a white man, about 5 feet 11 inches tall wearing a black jacket, jeans, a black-and-white baseball cap and a black bandanna over his face. Police tried unsuccessfully to track the robber using a K-9, Sprague said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
