St. George’s 60, Liberty 40

The Dragons are headed to the championship after handling the Lancers.

The Dragons built a double-digit lead in the first quarter, and went on an 11-2 run coming out of halftime to cruise into the fourth quarter.

Will Tender scored a game-high 23 points, and Erik Muelheims added 18 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win.

Ryan Thayer had 16 for the Lancers.

Kaleb Poquette scored 22 points and the Timberwolves earned a spot in the championship with a win over the Grizzlies.

With 2:30 left in the game the Timberwolves had built a 10-point lead, but the Grizzlies cut it down to three in the final seconds before they were forced to foul Poquette, who made his free throws down the stretch.

Rylon Kolb had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for MWP.

Luke Blankenbeckler had 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the loss.

The Broncos thoroughly dominated the final quarter and cruised past the Crusaders in an elimination game.

Dylan Hartz and Ryan Whitmore both scored 13 points for LRS, who opened the fourth on a 12-0 run, quickly erasing NWC’s four-point advantage.

Crusaders’ freshman Ryan Ricks led all scorers with 17 points. Curtis Hartis added 10 points and Jeremiah Sander pulled down 14 rebounds.

Kyle Hazen scored 22 points and Tristan Watson added 16 points and 11 rebounds as the Vikings surged in the second half and beat the Loggers in an elimination game.

Onalaska got out to a better start, making 50 percent of its shots in the first half, and led 30-22 at halftime.

Mossyrock, however, made the most of its opportunities in the second half.

Hazen hit two key shots in the fourth. His three-point play with 7:34 left put Mossyrock ahead by two. With 2:14 remaining, he drained a 3-pointer that gave the Vikings a six-point cushion.

Onalaska’s Travis McMillion led all scorers with 28 points. He also grabbed nine rebounds.
