Obituary: Toombs, Edith Louise “Edie”

Age 68

TOOMBS, Edith Louise “Edie” (Age 67) Born July 22, 1946 in Cut Bank, Montana, Edie passed away July 16, 2014 in Spokane.

She was raised in Idaho and Washington State and is survived by her mother, Gladys Corbett, brothers: Tom and Denny Corbett, children: Doug Toombs, Danelle Toombs and Dean Toombs, all of Spokane.

Six grandchildren: Josh (Karen) Stevens, Jordan Stevens, Jerad Stevens and Madisyn Toombs, all from Spokane, Austin and Tyler Toombs of Seattle.

Great-grandkids: Harli, Ryder, Marlee and McKenna Stevens.

Edie is preceded in death by her father, Dean Corbett, sister, Betty Bolstad and granddaughter, BreAnna Stevens.

The loves of her life included family, horses and her beloved dogs.

A celebration service will be held at the Eagles Lodge Banquet Room, 6410 N. Lidgerwood, Spokane, WA on July 20th, 1pm - 4pm.

Edie’s family would like to thank the residents and staff at Sullivan Park Care Center for their friendship and loving care given to her during the past four years.
