Obituary: Spivy, John A.

(Age 59) Passed away July 7, 2014 in Spokane, WA.

John was born in El Paso, TX on August 16, 1954, and followed in his father’s footsteps becoming an auto mechanic.

He later moved to Spokane where, in October of 1994 he met his wife, TeriAnne Nahulu.

TeriAnne had two young daughters who John fully supported in any way he could.

John loved taking care of his family and he made sure that they were well taken care of.

John enjoyed water skiing and fishing.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

John is survived by his brother, Jamie Spivy; his sister, Charlie (Roger) Walsh; his wife, TeriAnne Nahulu-Spivy; and stepdaughters: Malia and Emily Boatman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents: William and Ruth Spivy; and his sister, Linda.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1pm at Hennessey Funeral Home; 2203 N. Division, Spokane, WA 99207.

A reception will be held immediately following the service.
