Shadow’s destiny is their own
Derek Zimmerman and Mike Ramos scored after halftime to build a 2-0 lead and Spokane held on for a 2-1 win over host Vancouver (Washington) Victory FC on Thursday night.
Coupled with South Sound’s 2-0 defeat to Seattle, the Shadow now control their destiny with three games remaining in the Evergreen Premier League season.
The Shadow (7-2-2, 23 points) travel to Yakima today before closing the season with home fixtures against Seattle and Wenatchee next weekend. Spokane can finish ahead of South Sound (8-3-1, 25 points) and Vancouver (8-4-1, 25 points) with wins in its final three games and would win the inaugural league title in that scenario.
