Obituary: Freckleton, William “Bill” “Scotty”

FRECKLETON, William “Bill” “Scotty” 89 Years of Life “Scotty” a longtime resident of Loon Lake, Washington, formerly of Scotland, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

He is the dear husband of Joan Freckleton of Loon Lake, married thirty-seven years; and is the brother to Nancy Rieper of Lakewood, Washington, and Jean Jarman of Carnwath, Scotland.

His three step-children are David Rieper and wife Peggy, Donna Rieper, and Jeff Rieper.

Bill enjoyed two grandchildren, Marc and Matt, and one great-grandson, Tavish Rieper.

There are numerous nieces and nephews here and in Scotland.

Born in 1925 at Pathead, Scotland, Bill retired as an engineer with British and Scottish Railways.
