Obituary: Goble, Judy Diane (Humphries)

Age 77

GOBLE, Judy Diane (Humphries) July 10, 1936 - November 21, 2013 Judy was born in Swindon, England and lived there until marrying the love of her life, Perry Goble, and moving to the United States.

Together they raised two children, Peter and Steven.

Church was a huge part of Judy’s life.

She was always active in church, settling at Glad Tidings for the past twenty plus years.

Many knew Judy as the smiling English woman who greeted them.

Many friends and family loved Judy.

She was a grandmother to three grandchildren (Lynna, Dustin, and John) and had nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and was grandmother to many friends’ children.

She volunteered at Pratt Elementary for several years.

Judy loved spending time with children.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, and her sons, Peter and Perry Jr. (at birth).

She is survived by one son, Steven (Spokane), one brother, Jeff, and four sisters, Thelma, Christine, Jill and Ann, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2:00 PM, at the Glad Tidings Church, 4224 E 4th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA.

Judy lived with diabetes for over 59 years.
