Lego days build on creativity

In 2014, there will be Legos at Spokane County’s libraries.
A new traveling exhibit will visit one library each month. Opening day is Lego Build Day, and Lego fans of all ages are invited to bring the family and drop in for an hour or all day. Spend the time creating fabulous Lego structures and enjoy some snacks. After that, the Lego creations will remain on display at the library through the month. Then they’ll be dismantled and shipped off to the next library for use in its Build Day.
All ages are welcome, but kiddos 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. And there are plenty of Legos to share: roughly 47,000, according to the library district’s website.
Build Days will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. First up: the Cheney Library, 610 First St., on Saturday. The rest of the schedule follows:
Feb. 1, Argonne Library, 4322 N. Argonne Road, Millwood; March 1, Fairfield Library, 305 E. Main St., Fairfield; March 1, Airway Heights Library, 1213 S.
