Obituary: Joy, Thomas J.

Passed away February 19, 2014 in Spokane.

He was born July 26, 1933 in Spokane, the son of Daniel and Teresa (Phelan) Joy.

Tom graduated from North Central High School in 1951.

He worked for 30 years from 1962 to 1992 as a surveyor for the Spokane County Road Department.

His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Tom leaves behind his children: Diane (Joe) Quaale and Steve (Mari) Joy, all of Spokane; and his grandchildren: James Shaver, Jennifer Shaver, Brandon Joy, Alicia Joy, Jeffery Heatwole and Samantha Joy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25th from 10-5pm at Holy Cross Funeral Center Chapel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1pm and will be conducted at Holy Cross Funeral Center Chapel, 7200 N. Wall St., Spokane with committal to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
