UW camp for children accepting applications

Camp Kesem, a weeklong camp run by the University of Washington for children who have a parent or have had a parent with cancer, is accepting applications.

Campers must be ages 6 to 16 by the time camp starts on Aug. 17. Children statewide are invited to apply for the free camp, which is held in Cle Elum, Wash., at Camp Koinonia.
