Waste system move misstated

Wednesday’s editorial on the Regional Solid Waste System misstated the move from city to county control. The agreement under which the city of Spokane took over the system expires on Nov. 16. On Nov. 17, the county will take over. The bonds for the Waste-to-Energy Plant were paid off in 2011.
