Obituary: Flambouras, Darren Wade “Herk”

FLAMBOURAS, Darren Wade “Herk” (Age 48) Our beloved son, husband, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on the morning of August 17, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his wife Cathy, mother Shirley, father Frank, brothers Darryl and David (Dale) and Chris, sisters Denise Putt and Danette: uncle Dale, aunt Marlene and Pat: Nineteen nieces and nephews, many cousins, many dogs and many many friends.

He was a passionate humanitarian and animal lover and always looked out for the underdog.

“Herk” our Hercules who fought his most courageous battle to the end will always be remembered.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM, at Hennessey Funeral Home and Crematory.

There will be a reception to follow at the Eagles Lodge.
