Obituary: Mcgibbon, Betty Jean
Age 84
She was surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born on December 23rd 1929 in Spokane WA, to Frank and Dorothy Laface; she then lost her mother shortly after her birth and was raised by her grandparents in Rossland, BC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, and precious daughter Brenda Marie.
Betty is survived by her four children, Dan McGibbon and Jan McGibbon of Cle Elum, WA; Tammi McGibbon, Patti Zinkgraf (husband Mike) and Kelli McGibbon all of Spokane WA; Siblings Jean Nelson of Sedro Woolley, WA, and Patty Lacrosse of Portland, Or; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, seven Grandchildren, Amy Molitor (husband Mike) of Vancouver, WA; Jennifer Davis, Angie Lust, Jill Wimmer (husband Todd), Mikey Zinkgraf (wife Katie) US Air Force, Kristen Price, and Luke Price of Spokane, WA; and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
Betty will be remembered as a wise and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and of course a friend to many.
She was always quick to put a smile on your face with her loving, sweet personality which was absolutely contagious.
Betty will be remembered by the thousands of wonderful conversations she had routinely with her family every day and will be dearly missed.
She left behind many beautiful memories and lots of gifts from her life of knitting, crocheting and quilting.
There will be a private family memorial.
