Obituary: Bergeson, David
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Rita Bergeson; his sister Linda Alexander; his brother-in-law, Fred Alexander; his three daughters, Toni Dieni, Sheri Larsen, Tammy Bergeson; and his son-in-law Rob Larsen; grandchildren Breann Wilson, Cody Dieni, Derek Ahlers, Taylor Dieni, Tanner Wilson, Hunter Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Princeton, Minnesota, the son of Henry Bergeson and Margaret Harrington.
David joined the Marine Corp in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1959.
David joined the Spokane Valley Fire Department in 1968 and retired in 1993 as Battalion Chief.
David had a passion for fishing, camping, boating, traveling and his yearly Reno trips with his wife.
A memorial will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home, located at 1315 N. Pines Rd.
in the Spokane Valley on Tuesday, August 26 at 1:00 pm.
A reception will immediately follow the service.
