Andy loved the outdoors.
In his youth he enjoyed skiing and mountain climbing, and in later years spent countless hours hiking and snowshoeing trails throughout the mountains of the West.
In addition, Andy was an avid fisherman.
A man of faith, Andy was an active church member everywhere he lived; particularly in North Carolina, Bend and Spokane.
