Obituary: Agee, Jody Allen
Age 54
Jody was born on May 16, 1960 in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was the youngest of eight children born to Erma and Alfred Agee (both deceased).
He grew up in Colorado and moved to California during his elementary years.
Jody followed in his fathers footsteps, becoming a painter.
Jody and his wife Kathy married on March 31st, 1984.
They raised two amazing children together and later had six beautiful grandchildren.
Jody was a family man, he would do anything and everything in his power to make sure his family was well loved and cared for.
Jody is survived by his daughter Hollie (husband Matt) Wissmann of Rathdrum, ID; his son Bobby “Jay” (wife Aubree) Mohler of Rathdrum, ID; his beloved grandchildren: Sydney, Branden, Blake, Taylor, Gage and Jayden.
Other survivors include: his mother-in-law Hildegard Burtchell of TX; sisters: Ida Laney of CO, Iva Haggerty of WA, and Ina (Martin) Ward of WA; brothers: James (Carol) Agee of CA, Jerry (Denise) Agee of TX, Alfred (Carolyn) Agee of ID, Danny (Barbara) Agee of TX; brother in laws: Walter (Vicki) Burtchell of TX, Jimmy (Barbara) Burtchell of TX, Mike (Marla) Burtchell of TX: sister-in-law Tina (John) Williams of NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
Jody was a die-hard Gonzaga women’s basketball fan and season ticket holder.
He loved the Denver Broncos football team.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
He was a great all around handyman.
Jody was a great man with a big heart for people.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
The thing he loved doing the most was spending time with his grandchildren.
“Papa” - you will be missed, Pop’s, Dad, Uncle and Baby Bro”.
A memorial service celebrating Jody’s life will be held at the Intersection Church, 905 North McDonald Road, Spokane Valley, Washington on Saturday September 13th, at 1:00p.m.
