Obituary: Christofferson, Roy C.

CHRISTOFFERSON, Roy C. (Age 75) Roy was born in Spokane, WA on January 25, 1939 to Roy and Izetta Christofferson.

He passed away in Spokane on August 5, 2014.

Roy graduated in 1958 from Lewis & Clark HS.

He attended SCC for auto body and fender repair.

He was married August 18, 1962 in Spokane.

He worked for Fairmount Memorial Park for over 30 years.

Roy was an avid collector of pocket watches and Schwinn bicycles.

Roy loved restoring his 1939 and 1955 Packards (his “Gangster” cars).

Roy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara; daughter Mary Louise Richardson (Willie Joe, II); grandson Willie Joe, III; and sister Zenetta Kay Coykendall.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Roy C. Christofferson at Numerica Credit Union.

There will be a graveside service at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11:00 am.

A potluck will follow at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 3302 E. Liberty Ave., Spokane, WA 99207.
