Obituary: Shellabarger, Howard “Tiny”
Age 60
He was born June 16, 1954.
He married the love of his life, Sherree, on March 12, 1977.
Together they had two daughters, Stephanie Dow and Kimberlee Myers.
They were blessed with nine grandchildren; Seth Shellabarger, Colin Dow, Tyler Dow, Morgan Dow, Kayla Shellabarger (deceased), Kellee Myers, Isabelle Myers, Dakota Myers and Gabrielle Myers (deceased).
Tiny is also survived by his brother, Harlan Shellabarger (Kathy); and sister, Steena Naccarato (Scott).
Tiny lived his life for his family and he and Sherree centered their lives around that family and especially the children.
Tiny loved watching Seth play football at Ferris and performing in the orchestra where Seth played the base.
Tiny recently chaperoned a trip to Seattle and Pacific University with the orchestra and had the time of his life.
He took the kids to hockey games and Shock and baseball games.
He and Sherree loved Gonzaga basketball season and never missed a game in front of their television.
They loved the backyard BBQ with the family and he was a master at his grill and smoker.
He would always save a few samples to share with his co-workers at Skyline.
Tiny was in the wholesale florist business for over 30 years.
Presently he worked for Skyline Flower Growers with his work family.
He loved working at Skyline where he was the Supply Manager and Assistant GM.
Tiny was a kind, gentle and honest man.
You could take him at his word without question.
He had an infectious laugh and sayings that people laughed about that were all Tiny, such as “well, let me tell you,” or “the thing about it is”.
Tiny was best at what he did.
He had answers that often times no one else had.
Without fail, his cell phone would ring or he would get a text on his day off about some supply or something, but he never minded.
He was definitely a people person and was willing to help anyone with anything.
He was so young and they had so many plans.
We much believe that God had something special he needed that only Tiny could do.
