Obituary: Revel, Robert K. “Bob”

Age 80

REVEL, Robert K. “Bob” (Age 80) The Lord took Bob home on the 15th of March, 2014.

He was born June 14, 1933 in Pueblo, CO.

He was raised in a Montana State orphanage and graduated from Alberton High School in Montana in 1951.

This is where he met and married Dorothy Murray, they were married for 62 years.

Bob attended EWU and Whitworth College.

He began working at Spokane County Juvenile Court as a probation officer, and then was hired by the Hutton Settlement Children’s Home.

Bob began working at the campus as the resident director, then moving off campus becoming the assistant administrator, to finally becoming the administrator until retiring from the Hutton Settlement in June of 1995.

Bob was involved in many associations (social welfare, building owners and managers, real estate and property management, Rotary, 4H leader, Interstate Fair Board, NW Cancer Care) and other organizations.

Bob was very respected in his career and touched many, many lives in his journey here on earth.

He loved his family and friends and left behind quite a legacy.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling.

Bob is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughters Darla Johnstone (Steve), Valerie Lindblad (Jim); granddaughters Aneska Elam (Tracy), Sasha Scarlett (Toak); grandsons Jason and Jon Johnstone; great-grandsons Ethan and Colter Elam and Ryder Scarlett.

A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Egypt, WA (turn right just before town of Davenport, WA on the way to Lake Roosevelt) Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers his family asks that memorial donations be made to: Christ Lutheran Church at 41697 S.R.
