Obituary: Felice, Ursula Ellen Rose
Age 89
She met her American husband, Victor Felice, at the end of WWII while he was stationed in Berlin.
They wed on April 19, 1947 at Herz-Jesu-Kirche, the Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Berlin.
Victor brought Ursula and her young daughter, Gabriele, back to Spokane to be near his family.
Ursula and Victor had four more children: Roger, Anna-Christine, Stephen, and Lisa.
Ursula was known for her talents in the kitchen and her elegant European style.
She had a sharp mind and was an avid bridge player, skilled knitter, creative designer, and voracious reader.
She loved animals, the outdoors, travel, and beautiful things.
She taught us the value of prayer and our devotion to God the Father.
Above all else, she cherished her family beyond words.
Her relationships with God and each family member were her greatest joy.
Ursula was taken to Heaven late Sunday night at home, with her family by her side.
The love generated by her presence was limitless.
She is survived by her siblings Vera Dietrich (Hamburg, Germany); Karl Hoffmann (Spokane); and Baerbel Lowman (Yakima, WA); children Gabriele (Mike) Eldredge Huycke (Albany, Oregon), Roger Felice (Spokane), Christine (Tom) Harrington Nowak (Liberty Lake); Stephen (Adela) Felice (Othello, WA); and Lisa (Tom) Vogt (Spokane); 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
We will surely miss her beautiful blue eyes, smile, and bright survivor spirit!
“Deine kinder lieben und segnen dich”.
