Obituary: Daubel, Albert Emil

Age 94

DAUBEL, Albert Emil (Age 94) Albert Daubel passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014.

He was born in Chattaroy, WA., to Charles and Anna Daubel, on November 25, 1919.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He met and married his sweetheart, Viola Bronkhorst, who together welcomed their son, Alvin and daughter, Maxine.

He lived his entire life in Chattaroy, WA., on the family homestead.

Albert was one of the last true pioneers of the Elk-Chattaroy area.

Loved by so many for his advice and his willingness to help everyone- he greeted everyone with a big grin!

Albert worked 31 years at Kaiser Aluminum-Mead.

He loved the outdoors, especially fire wood cutting, hunting and just working the farm.

Albert was last surviving sibling of eleven, all born and raised on the Daubel Homestead!

Albert is survived by his wife, Viola; son, Alvin (Jeanine) of Spokane, WA; and daughter, Maxine (Rick) Pickel of Cheney, WA; three grandchildren, Dawn Robinson, Jason Pickel, and Lisa Daubel; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Robinson, Eli Robinson, Lilly Womach, Corbin Pickel, and Takoda Daubel; and one great-great grandchild, Maliyah Conroy.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Elk Cemetery in Elk Washington.
