Obituary: Goble, Lucy M. (Domini)

GOBLE, Lucy M. (Domini) April 12, 1926 - August 22, 2013 After a full and long 87 years, Lucy passed away August 22, 2013 of old age.

She was born in Spokane; graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1944; attended Kinman Business School.

Lucy worked as a clerk typist for the GSA for 20 years, retiring in 1972.

In retirement, Lucy and her husband Bernie, traveled to Europe, Hawaii and Mexico.

They spent many winters in Palm Springs and other parts of California.

Many trips were made to the coast to visit their only child, Cyndi and her family.

Lucy was a member of the Red Hat Society and with the help of Bernie, started and donated bananas to the “Bananas for Breakfast” at Havermale High School for many years.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bernie; daughter, Cynthia Christofferson, son-in-law Bruce; grandsons: Nik (Tiffany), and Landry (Laura); also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annetta Domini; sister, Mary; brothers: Julius, Fred Victor and Albert.

At her request, there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, treat someone to breakfast, that was Lucy’s favorite thing to do.
