Obituary: Charter, Pamela Jean (Hill)
Age 59
She was born on April 8, 1954 in Spokane, Washington.
She graduated from North Central High School in 1972.
Pam attended and graduated from SFCC and was a member of the Gardeners of Spokane.
She married her husband Michael L. Charter on January 17, 1976.
Pam moved through life with a positive upbeat attitude.
She would like to look for the good and potential in people and would go out of her way to help and assist those she thought needed it.
Above all else her priority was family.
She would do anything to ensure the care, comfort and wellbeing of that family.
Her primary focus was her son Michael that continued through to his wife Monica and their two daughters Isabella and Madalyn.
After the birth of her grandchildren her primary focus was turned to ensuring that the grandchildren were never wanting.
She vowed to be there for them to teach, influence, guide and mentor and be their friend; Grandma could not say no.
She treated her nieces and nephews as her own and as their families grew she eagerly extended her umbrella to cover them as well.
Pam is survived by her husband Michael L. Charter; son Michael R. Charter (Monica); grandchildren Isabella and Madalyn Charter; brother Ted Hill (Janet) of Wenatchee, WA; sister Ann Walker of Lacey, WA; nieces Christina Almquist and Amanda Hill; grandnephew Brody Hill; nephews Adam Hill and James Almquist (Lana) and their children Akalya and Collin; as well as her step father Art Oquist.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Russell Gordon Hill and Viola Grace Oquist.
She will be missed by everyone she came in contact with.
