Man taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Spokane Valley
A man was taken to the hospital with in critical condition Wednesday night after he was struck by a car west of Pines Road at Sprague Avenue.
A 23-year-old man darted out into traffic at about 6 p.m. Wednesday and an eastbound traveling car hit him, Deputy Mark Gregory said. The man was not in a crosswalk, he said. It does not appear that the 43-year-old driver was impaired or driving recklessly, Gregory said.
Sheriff’s deputies are still on the scene.
