Obituary: Stowers, Earl E.

Age 84

STOWERS, Earl E. April 6, 1929 - September 29, 2013 Beloved husband, dad and friend, went to be with his Savior (and join his wife of 65 years, Coral, who preceded him in death last October) on September 29, 2013.

Earl was born on April 6, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Earl Sr., and Marguerite Stowers.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ed and Ron.

Earl had many interest, including classical music, hunting, fishing and building rifles.

He also loved animals - a trait he passed on to all of his children.

Along with his children, Catherine (Puyallup), Cheryl (Spokane), Chris and his wife Kim (LaVerne, CA), granddaughter Eowyn and her husband Nasir, and great grandson Gabriel (Pomona, CA), he also leaves behind his furry companions, Molly, Buffy and Kitty.

Those who knew him well knew that he loved to tease - he’d never pass up an opportunity to play a joke on you!

But, he also cared greatly for his family and friends, and when his health was better, he would drop everything to help you out!

Earl was a devout Christian with a very strong faith, and a member of his church for over 50 years.

His love for his family and friends will leave us with great memories, but we will still miss him dearly.

A memorial will be held at 1 PM, Thursday October 10, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7307 N. Nevada, Spokane, WA.
