Obituary: Apperson, Shawn Paul David
Age 29
For you fought with tremendous will to come home to your family, for five months at Harbor View Medical Center.
On December 4, 2012, with no hesitation you become a hero, saving your family from a house fire.
Always a devoted and nurturing Husband and Father to (Jessica Hammond, Sam and Ella Apperson, Lainey and Kaiden Nettleingham).
Every morning, when we see the sun rise we will remember your contentness with the basics of life and it will remind us to appreciate what we have.
A loving and Compassionate Son and Brother to (Kathy Kitzmiller, Dave, Melissa and Jessie Apperson).
You spoke with honesty that without a doubt makes you who you are.
Always a man of your word, the impressions you have left on your family (Grandparents Paul and Joan million, Grandma Edna, Grandpa Dick) Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends is unforgettable.
You are the only person we know who could part a crowd with your signature “hello” and ride down the street doing a hand stand on your skateboard.
In the middle of the day we will be reminded of your perfection with landscaping, when we smell fresh cut grass and will try our best to keep it as beautiful as you did.
When the stars and moon are shining bright we are comforted knowing you are watching over us with Grandma Gypsy, Cousin Joe and your long missed pets buddy and scooter.
Shawn Apperson you have showed us all what love is and you are our Hero.
Service will be held at Life Center Foursquare Church located at 1202 N. Government Way, Friday, May 31st at 1 pm.
We ask if you have a picture of Shawn you could share, please bring it so we can put it in a scrapbook for the kids.
Also, please feel free to dress casual, as Shawn would want us to be ourselves and treat this as a celebration of his life.
