Steven grew up on the family ranch in Deer Lodge, MT until moving to Spokane in 1956.
He attended Central Valley High School, Powell County High School and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1963.
Steven also completed some college level business law classes.
Steven was a hard worker from his early days on the ranch to working 2-3 jobs at a time to support his own family as an adult.
He owned his own businesses down through the years, which included Independent Restaurant & Bakery Equipment and finally, Food Equipment International with his wife, Susan.
He was very well known in the industry for his extensive knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, especially Hobart mixers.
He could talk someone through mixer repair over the phone, no matter where they were.
He loved nature, animals and outdoor adventures.
Steven always thought “outside of the box” and was admired for his inventiveness.
He was an avid gardener and recycler.
He was always ready to learn and eager to share his experience with others.
His sense of humor was contagious.
He was spiritual, with a generous, loving heart.
He will be missed tremendously by all whose lives he has touched.
