Obituary: Ekren, Roger

EKREN, Roger (Age 85) Born February 9, 1928 in Rochester, Minnesota, has gone home to his Lord, March 24, 2013.

Mr. Ekren is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clara A. Ekren and sister, Beverly A. Heinen.

“Uncle Buddy” will be missed by his nieces and nephews he leaves behind: Brian A. Lewis (Karen), Linda K. Bengson (Darrell), Dianne M. Baird, Sharon A. Lewis and Craig A. Lewis.

Uncle Buddy was blessed with many great-nieces and nephews that will miss him a great deal.

Mr. Ekren was a resident of Spokane, Washington for 51 years at the time of his death.

Viewing will be at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27, from 11:00am-5:00pm.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 28 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.

Our family would like to thank anyone that has been there to help care for our uncle in his last days.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
