Obituary: Buhl, Audrey Joan

Age 79

BUHL, Audrey Joan Of Spokane, Washington passed away to God on March 21, 2013.

She was born in Tacoma, Washing-ton on February 11, 1934, daughter of the late Harry and Mary Catherine Hansen.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Katherine Stevens of Helotes, Texas and Denise Stevens of Spokane, Washington, whom she loved dearly; sister Corinne Souza of Chico, California and several nieces and nephews; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her devoted, loving husband Fred, brother-in-law Tony and niece Julie.

Audrey spent most of her life in California.

For over 30 years, Audrey worked at a college where she was a valued employee, hard worker, and a very well-liked individual.

Audrey was a loving, devoted wife and mother, and a treasured sister.

Audrey’s sweetness was apparent to all.

Audrey was a unique, wonderful woman who was held in the highest esteem and loved by all who knew her.

Her sister, Corinne is grateful for the happy memories.

Looking back on all that they shared over the years, all the support they gave one another, she couldn’t have loved her more and is blessed to have had her in her life.

Audrey was of the Lutheran faith.

She will be carried in our hearts and minds forever, along with all her love.

May God rest her soul.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Pleasant Haven Family Home for all of their loving care of Audrey.

A memorial service will be held at SPOKANE CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICE, 2832 N. RUBY, on Thursday, March 28 at 11:00am.
