Younger Gregoire sworn in to port commission
SEATTLE — Courtney Gregoire has been sworn in as a member of the Port of Seattle Commission.
Gregoire is a lawyer for Microsoft and daughter of former Gov. Chris Gregoire. She and her husband Mike were at today’s ceremony with Courtney Gregoire’s husband Scott Lindsay, who held their 4-month old daughter Audrey.
Courtney Gregoire was selected to fill the seat left vacant when Commissioner Gael Tarleton went to the state House. The 33-year-old Gregoire will have to run for election in November to retain the seat.
The five-member commission oversees Sea-Tac Airport and cruise ship and cargo ship terminals on the Seattle waterfront.
