Obituary: Johnson, Verna Lee

Verna Lee Anderson Markham Johnson Our dearest Mother, Verna Lee Johnson, at age 70, died peacefully on June 20, 2013 and is at rest with our Heavenly Father.

Verna was born on February 9, 1943 in Spokane, WA, the daughter of Lester Anderson and Beverly Payne.

Verna lived a full and wonderful life as a Navy Wife, a caring and loving Mother and Grandmother, a Daughter, a Sister and for many, a Special Friend.

She is survived by her children; Greg Markham, Arnie Markham, Courtney Markham, and Erica Markham.

Brother; Buzz Anderson.

Nephew; Joe Long.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Johnson.

Verna blessed so many with her soul as she filled everyone’s hearts with happiness when you met her.

Verna was an amazing woman, of many talents and accomplishments; she was smart and fun loving, a very artistic person, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children.

She always loved to wear her red hair full of curls and gave you the brightest smile you’ve ever seen.

She blessed so many with her soul and we rest knowing she is at peace in Heaven with God.

Services will be held in Puyallup, WA on July, 27, 2013.
