Embassy Management LLC has hired Norm Judd as chief financial officer for the company’s Spokane office. He worked for Sterling Bank as treasurer. The company also hired Shannon McLain as supported employment program manager for SL Start and Associations LLC. McLain has experience in vocational rehabilitation.

• Avista Corp. and Avista Foundation made grants totaling $28,150 to food banks in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Local food bank recipients in Eastern Washington include Our Place Community Ministries, Peaceful Valley Neighborhood Association, Kettle Falls Community Chest, Second Harvest, Spokane Valley Partners, Othello Food Bank, Ritzville Food Pantry, Sprague-Lamont 4-H Club, Colville Volunteer Food and Resource Center, Community Action Center of Whitman serving Pullman and Colfax, Lincoln County Care and Share, Cheney Food Bank, and Loon Lake Pantry and Resource Center. In North Idaho, grants went to Bayview Bible Chapel, Bonner Community Food Center, Post Falls Food Bank Inc., Rathdrum County Food Bank, and Sojourner’s Alliance.

Nonprofit

Meg Lindsay has been hired by Greater Spokane Incorporated as program coordinator for the organization’s workforce and public policy departments. She previously worked as a Spokane STEM coordinator. The organization also promoted Alisha Benson from membership director to director of education and workforce; and Robyn Swanson from program coordinator for public policy and workforce departments to events coordinator.

• Inland Northwest Community Foundation awarded $463,116 to 27 nonprofit organizations in North Idaho and Eastern Washington through its Community Strategies Grant Program.

• Skils’kin has hired John Lemus as community relations facilitator. He previously served as a volunteer with The Arc of Spokane for nearly five years.

Evergreen Realty has named Ron Nova general manager of Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Nova has been with Evergreen since 2008.

• Centennial Real Estate Investments promoted Deanne Logan to real estate manager. She has been with the company for seven years.
