Obituary: Miller, Anthony Ray “Tony”

MILLER, Anthony Ray “Tony” (Age 52) Was born on October 2, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington and entered into rest on February 19, 2013 in Spokane, Washington.

Tony grew up in Spokane and attended John Rogers High School.

He spent his life working in the construction industry, culminating as a Master Carpenter.

Tony cherished and loved his kids, Jason Ray Miller (Tacoma, WA), Andrew James Miller (Las Vegas, NV), Tiffany Lynne Neis (Spokane, WA), Mallory Donna Jo Sletner (Spokane, WA) and Quinn Martin Penick (Seattle, WA).

His true joy in life was celebrating his status as “Papa” to his grandchildren, Morgan Miller, Bridget Miller, Genavese Sletner, Aiden Ray Miller, and Abigail Miller.

He loved classic rock, football and was a life-long Raiders fan.

He is survived by his sons, Jason, Andrew, Quinn and daughters, Tiffany and Mallory.

He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Logan, sisters, Ruth Ellison, Susan Sheets, Lesli-Ann Hamley and brothers, Christian Ellison, Evan Ellison and Pete Ellison.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Anthony Ellison.

A service will be conducted in Spokane Valley, WA, on Monday, February 25 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.

A family and friends “Celebration of Life” will take place directly after at 8504 E. Mansfield Ave., Spokane, WA.
