Coming up: Idaho Vandals

COMING UP: Saturday at Idaho State, 1 p.m.

OUTLOOK: After four straight losses, Idaho takes a week off from WAC play to visit Idaho State (5-20) in a BracketBusters game. The Bengals, in last place in the Big Sky Conference, snapped a seven-game losing streak last week by trouncing Montana State. The Vandals last played Idaho State in Pocatello in December 2008, Don Verlin’s first season. But these two teams will become regular counterparts when Idaho joins the Big Sky after the 2013-14 season. UI is 1-1 against Big Sky teams this year, with a three-point loss to first-place Montana and an overtime win over Eastern Washington.
