FCS quarterfinals: North Dakota State, New Hampshire advance
Sam Ojuri rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns as top-seeded North Dakota State crushed Coastal Carolina 48-14 in a FCS quarterfinal game Saturday in Fargo, N.D.
Brock Jensen completed 14 of 21 passes for 187 yards and two TDs as the two-time defending FCS national champion Bison (13-0) won their 22nd straight game. Jensen also ran for two TDs and 75 yards on 10 carries.
The win comes less than one week after head coach Craig Bohl said he was leaving NDSU to coach Wyoming.
The Bison outgained Coastal Carolina (12-3) 624-281.
New Hampshire 20, Southeast Louisiana 17: Quarterback Sean Goldrich rushed for 99 yards and three TDs, the last one from two yards out with 47 seconds left, to lift the Wildcats (10-4) over the Lions (11-3) in Hammond, La.
New Hampshire advances to the semifinals for the first time in school history, where it will play North Dakota State on Friday night.
