Obituary: Robertson, Robbie

ROBERTSON, Robbie Robbie was born February 20th, 1923 to Jasper and Betha Siler in Rose Lake, Idaho.

She joined her brother Earl and sister Edi on the family ranch.

Her sister Hazel was born two years later.

Robbie graduated from Rose Lake high school.

On a Saturday night she attended a dance where she met and later married a handsome young man named Dave Robertson.

Dancing became a hobby for the remainder of their lives.

Their daughter, Dianna was born March 20th, 1947 in Spokane, WA.

She was the apple of their eye.

They raised her with guidance, compassion and a great amount of love.

Robbie and Dave lived in Spokane, Tri-Cities and Portland OR.

Robbie was an accomplished bookkeeper for Rockwood Water District Portland, the City of Kennewick and the City of Pasco.

She enjoyed being an excellent seamstress; making Dave suits and Dianna sun suits and dresses.

Robbie enjoyed traveling and family gatherings where she watched her grandchildren, year after year, grow into adults.

She enjoyed many friends (especially Helen and Bob, and Floria and Bennie); helping others when she could, laughing, and was always available for her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Dave, as well as a daughter, Denise.

Her parents, Jasper and Betha; brother, Earl and sister, Edi.

Robbie is survived by her daughter, Dianna (Troy); grandchildren Todd, Travis, Tami (Kelly); sister, Hazel and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express gratitude to Horizon Hospice, especially her nurse Tami (who has the most compassion, understanding and patience), Chaplain Rick and Karen.

Also the many caregivers: Tawny, Teri, Maria, Ami, Brittney, Judy and Jennifer.

Her roommate Betty and friends Jan and Shirley.

Her nurse delegate, Janice.

A very special thank you to Lena’s Gentle Care, Lena, Vasiliy and Heather.

Mom and Grandma, you will be missed and loved “always and forever.”
