Obituary: Hahn, John T., Jr.
John was born in White Swan, Washington to Nancy Parsons Hahn and John Hahn, Sr. John was an enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and attended schools at St. Mary’s Mission in Omak, Washington and Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon.
He worked as a roofer and sider all of his life and was employed by various roofing companies in the Spokane area.
John is survived at the home by his wife Mary and “little girl” Destiny.
He is also survived by sisters Marceline Hubert, Lucetta (Larry) Stafford, Merrita (Glenn) Ford, Vernona Gunn and Lavada (Richard) Fry; brother Leonard (Phyllis) Hahn; granddaughter Heidi Czyson; great-grand- children Cameo Thompson, Daven Czyson, Naomi Fischer and Walter Fischer; sons John (Diana) T. Hahn III, David Hahn and Bill Hahn; daughter Juanita Hahn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Palmanteer, brother Art Hahn, daughter Shari Hahn and niece Linda Ratcliff.
He also leaves behind a very extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
John enjoyed fishing and boating, camping and going to the casino.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Glenna and Donna from Hospice of Spokane for their services and comfort during such a difficult time.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Spokane and SpokAnimal.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Fairmount Memorial Gardens Sunset Chapel.
