Fred C. Ames, 71, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his home.

Fred grew up in Eastern WA and attended Tekoa High School.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany.

He later moved to Dunlap, TN where he married his wife Linda Norris.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; and mother, Genevieve Ames.

He is survived by his father, E.B.

Ames, Spokane, WA; son, Tyrone (Audrey) Ames, Soddy-Daisy, TN; daughter, Tammy (Troy) Lockhart, Dunlap, TN; brother, Dick (Rose) Ames, Spokane, WA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Services were held in Dunlap, TN at Ewton Funeral Home of Dunlap, TN.
