Age 91

Our wonderful mother, Twila L. Shaffer, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2012, at the Regency Nursing Home in Spokane, Washington.
She was born on November 14, 1921, in Cherokee, Kansas.
She is survived by her son Bradley Shaffer, his wife Tamara Shaffer, granddaughters Amber Hull and Andrea Shaffer, great- grandson Briar Hull, sister-in-law Willma Clark, nephews Mike Clark and Fred Clark, niece Kim Kolsen of Marysville, WA.
Twila was a resident of Kennewick since 1947, then moved to Spokane in 2006 to be near her son and daughter-in-law.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Kennewick 2nd ward and served in the family records extraction program.
She was always cheerful and happy to see visitors and family when they came to visit her.
Twila was a very special lady and will be deeply missed.
Services will be held Thursday, October 11th at 2:00pm with visitations Wednesday, October 10th from 4-6:00pm at Mueller’s Chapel of the Falls 314 W 1st Ave, Kennewick.
