Gotan-e Buddhist service – The Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry St., will celebrate the birthday of the founder of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism during a service Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Jundo Gregory Gibbs of the Oregon Buddhist Temple in Portland will lead the service. A Dharma exchange will follow the service. Bring your questions about Buddhism. (509) 534-7954.

Speaker event

Speaker Graham Cooke – Healing Rooms Ministries, 112 E. First Ave., will present speaker Graham Cooke, with worship by Kelanie Gloecker, on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. Cooke has spoken throughout the world and consults with churches and organizations looking to transition toward a higher dimension of corporate life in the spirit.
