GONZALES, Margery Lenore (Leavey)

Our Beloved mother, sister and friend, Margery Lenore (Leavey) Gonzales, age 69, entered into rest in Spokane on May 7, 2012, in Spokane, WA due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

“Margie” (as she was known) was born in 1942 to Charles and Lenore Leavey of Otis Orchards, WA.
Margie went to Otis Orchards High School and graduated in 1960.

She went on to college to earn her BA in Business Management.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Kunz of Stockton, IL and son, Joseph Gonzales of Spokane, WA; sister, Charlene Brickey of Spokane Valley, WA; brother Richard Leavey of Lewiston, ID.

Two granddaughters, Sydney and Emma; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lenore Leavey; brother Douglas Leavey and sister Colleen Anderson.
A book reader at heart, she also loved music, plants, camping, playing cards and being around family.

She will be greatly missed.

Margie’s family would like to thank Lee Simmons and staff that took such great care of her.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
