SWANSON, Katherine A.
Passed away in Bremerton, WA on April 27, 2012 at the age of 91.
Katherine was born on August 25, 1920 in Yankton, SD.
She married Cyril G. Swanson on September 30, 1941.
Katherine spent time volunteering as a candy striper at Valley General Hospital and was a member of the Eagles F.O.
E. She enjoyed many personal interests including sewing, gardening, baking and camping.
Katherine is preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Percy.
Treasuring her memory are husband Cyril Swanson; her daughters; Brenda J. Babcock and Patricia L. Stewart, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton with a reception to follow at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
